Delivery and billing addresses

Set a delivery estimate, offer address suggestions and let shoppers use a different billing address.

Set a delivery estimate

1. Enable Estimated delivery
   In Delivery, enable Show an estimate under each shipping method.
2. Set the business-day range
   Enter your minimum and maximum Business days. Keep {date_range} in the message to display the calculated date range.
3. Add holidays and product overrides
   Enter non-working dates under Holidays / non-working days, one YYYY-MM-DD date per line. Product and variation overrides are under Product data → Shipping.
4. Save and check the result
   Select Save all settings. Check a real shipping method, a weekend and any holiday you entered. Enable the confirmation-page option if you also want the estimate shown after checkout.

Address entry options

Country detection

Preselects a country only when WooCommerce does not already have one. Cloudflare/WooCommerce geolocation is used first.

Third-party IP lookup

The optional ipwho.is fallback is off by default. Enabling it sends the shopper’s IP to that service.

Address suggestions

Enable suggestions for Address line 1 and choose Photon or Google Places. Entered address text goes to the selected provider; manual entry remains available.

Google Places

Requires a suitable browser-restricted key, Places API (New), Maps JavaScript API and your provider setup.

Allow a separate billing address

In Fields, enable Separate billing address → Allow shoppers to use a different billing address. Save, then test both “Same as shipping” and “Use a different billing address” with your gateway. Delivery fields stay available for shipping rates.
